5 common questions answered
NHTSA’s three recalls involve safety systems that deserve prompt attention. Side curtain air bags may not properly inflate in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. On Bentayga vehicles with third-row seats, the upper seat belt attachment may not stay connected, leaving an occupant improperly restrained in a crash. A fuel line quick connector may also leak in the engine compartment, creating a fire risk if fuel contacts an ignition source. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved.
